Front-End Developer · Web & Mobile

Scroll

I build web and mobile interfaces, from the screens designed in Figma to the code that ends up on people’s screens.

For over four years I’ve been working at a software consultancy on a MaaS (Mobility as a Service) app built in React Native and used by millions of people across Italy. I mostly work on ticketing and travel: buying and managing tickets.

How it started

It all started with modding: a Samsung Galaxy Gio and the CyanogenMod ROM. Then it became my job.

  • I build a MaaS (Mobility as a Service) app for iOS and Android with React Native and TypeScript, for a client in the mobility sector: millions of users and thousands of municipalities covered across Italy.
  • I look after the ticketing and travel area: buying and managing tickets, payment SDK integration, new features and bug fixes.
  • I handle the React Native upgrades and write native libraries in Kotlin and Swift for the project.
  • I manage state and async flows with Redux Toolkit and Redux-Saga, integrate REST APIs and build the UI from Figma designs.
  • I work in Scrum sprints, in both small and extended teams, with code reviews on pull requests in Azure DevOps.

Experiences far from software, but they got me used to explaining myself to very different people, working in a team and staying organised when it’s crowded and time is short.

Numi

An app for collectors of banknotes and coins from around the world: you photograph your pieces, browse them in a binder organised by country and find them on a map. No account needed: the collection stays on your phone.

  1. The latest addition spins in 3D and you can turn it with your finger. Below, you’ll find a few stats about your collection and some handy tips, like turning on backups.

  2. You flip through it like a real binder: each country has its own divider with a patch, and pockets to fill. You can also view the collection as a list, filtering duplicates and pieces in or out of circulation, or on a world map where your countries light up.

  3. A mask helps you frame the shot: a rectangle for banknotes, a circle for coins. Then you adjust the crop and, for banknotes, the shape. With a Numista API key, photos and details are filled in from the catalogue.

  4. How many pieces, countries and currencies you have, how they’re spread across continents, which era they come from and how many you add each month. View everything together, or just banknotes or coins.
